If you are you passionate about dinosaurs, fossils, and ancient history, volunteering at Karoo Origins will provide you with a hands-on adventure that lets you contribute to science, research, and education.
Karoo Origins volunteer opportunities range from fossil preparation and collections, as well as research assistance to participation in educational programmes and tours, public engagements and events. The centre also requires assistance with various maintenance activities.

DONATE TO THE CENTRE
Karoo Origins is registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) as per the Non-Profit Organisations (NPO) Act, 1997 which makes the centre eligible for donor funding. The centre receives no support from government, which means that operations need to be entirely self-funded. To be able to deliver on its educational mandate, the centre will rely extensively on donor funding.
Any donations received will entitle the donor to a Section 18A certificate that allows individuals and businesses to claim tax deductions for donations, making philanthropy a win-win for both society and donors.
